ScheduALL Transforms How Media and Broadcast Companies Collaborate

7 Sep 2012

AMSTERDAM – IBC2012 – September 7, 2012 – ScheduALL, the leading global provider of Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) software to the media and broadcast industries, at IBC2012 will unveil new features and capabilities that simplify the way companies manage complex projects and share resources, assets and expertise.

“ScheduALL is the man behind the curtain handling all of the work required to book events and manage projects so users can focus their time and energies on getting their work done uninterrupted, on time and on budget,” said Joel Ledlow, CEO, ScheduALL. “The new technologies we’re going to demonstrate at IBC2012 will challenge, and quickly replace, the conventional ways media and broadcast companies work together.”

The ScheduALL system features new capabilities for booking events and managing entire projects so users are not required to laboriously schedule one asset at a time. ScheduALL automatically performs all the business logic to price and allocate the appropriate assets in real-time, and notifies the user immediately when specific tasks are completed or a problem arises.

Even as all of that work is performed in the background, the re-designed ScheduALL user experience will be more simple and intuitive. Individuals can customize their desktop, tablet and smartphone screens based on the features they need. Two people who perform the same job can have completely different interfaces that each one has tailored by adding widgets, resizing windows and creating multiple real-time views of their work. One user may have a calendar, a report dashboard and a jobs-in-queue screen, and be able to quickly close one of those functions and drag personnel onto the same screen for overtime rules.

ScheduALL will demonstrate a prototype of this new user experience for the first time at IBC.

These new capabilities and user experience make previously complicated and time-consuming tasks like sending content from New York City to London for editing as simple as dragging and dropping a file. The ScheduALL system makes the transfer, notifies and the sender and receiver, and even reserves a specific editing bay so the work can begin immediately.

This ease of collaboration is not limited to within one organization. The ERMa application enables disparate ScheduALL systems to connect and accelerate project workflows throughout the content creation to distribution supply chain. With ERMa, anyone who owns a ScheduALL system can partner and share inventories with another ScheduALL system.

“You will no longer be forced to turn away work because you will have access to an unlimited supply of resources across your partner and vendor communities,” added Ledlow. “Our intelligent booking system allocates those resources, and accounts for factors such as price deltas, skills requirements or timelines to get the project completed with very little human intervention. This really flattens the administration of projects and focuses on delivery, quality and task in real time.”
