PEAR Sports Partners with Timex to Integrate Real-Time Audio Coaching Technology into TIMEX® IRONMAN® RUN X50+

Connected Device to offer New Custom Training Programs, Advancing the World of Fitness Mobile Technology

IRVINE, Calif. –  June 25, 2015 – PEAR Sports, a leader in performance training based on real-time audio coaching innovations, and Timex, the leader in outdoor and sports performance timepieces, today announced a partnership integrating PEAR’s real-time audio coaching platform with the TIMEX® IRONMAN® RUN X50+ connected sport watch.

This partnership will allow runners to control and review their workouts, change music and control other phone functions, only using their Timex® watch.

In addition, Timex Multisport Team members and coaches will develop new, customizable training programs for the PEAR app featuring their own voices and showcasing their expertise in multiple disciplines available exclusively on the PEAR sports app.
