New York, November 9, 2015Hercules, the mobile DJ controller specialist, today announces a partnership with Scratch DJ Academy to continue their mission to bring the art of DJing to everyone across the globe. As a product partner, all Scratch DJ Academy students across the six locations throughout North America and satellite programs across the globe will have the hands-on experience with Hercules DJ products including, DJControl Jogvision, and RMX2 Premium for Traktor in order to develop their skills and become top notch DJs. Scratch Academy and Hercules will also work on collaborative content that allow DJ enthusiasts who are searching for tricks and tips to gain access to useful information for free on YouTube.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Hercules and featuring their products in our classroom,” said Hapa Purdue, Brand Director for Scratch Academy. “As brands, we are in total alignment regarding providing education and access to the next generation of DJs and remixers. This is literally the tip of the iceberg and the future for our relationship is very exciting!”

Additionally, both companies will collaborate on classes, events, and post graduate opportunities for graduates in the DJ realm. Scratch DJ Academy students who demonstrate a passion and a dedication to DJing will also have an opportunity to participate in special opportunities and events throughout the year, including performing a set at the annual NAMM Show in 2016.

“This partnership with Scratch Academy will bring us one step closer to achieving our shared mission of helping others live their passions,” said Michael Peterson, North American Marketing Director for Hercules. “The partnership we have developed with Scratch is unlike anything else in existence and through it, we are now able to bring the mystery of DJing with today’s modern controllers, directly to those that want it the most.
