LED light bulb features integrated Bluetooth speaker and seamlessly adds music to any room without having to pull wires or change decor
New York – December 16, 2013 – AwoX, the brand that allows you to share, play and control content between different devices within your home, is expanding its collection of connected solutions to the U.S. with the StriimLight B-10. This LED light bulb features an integrated Bluetooth speaker that makes it easy to play digital music throughout your home for a simple “smart home” upgrade. The AwoX StriimLight offers an affordable solution to achieve your wireless audio goals. AwoX StriimLight and the full AwoX Striim collection will be on display at LVCC, South Hall 3 – 31658 at the 2014 Consumer Electronic Show, January 7-10.
The long life, energy efficient bulb screws into existing lamp sockets and connects to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Once paired to the StriimLight, use your Bluetooth-enabled device to stream music and control your tracks. Use the included IR remote control to turn the light on and off and adjust the volume of your music. The quick set up makes it easy for anyone to integrate sound anywhere there’s a light: no pulling wires, no changes to decor. Just screw-in, flick the switch, and play the music of your choice with crisp clear sound anywhere you can place a light fixture. Best of all, StriimLight’s unobtrusive design makes it easy to add music to rooms where space is scarce, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
“The AwoX Striim brand makes connecting things in the home simple,” said Alain Molinie, CEO of AwoX. “We made our products affordable and accessible so everyone can enjoy the benefits of a connected home, without having to completely replace their existing equipment.”
